Companies are interested in establishing associations, but we also want to bring research organizations and universities together to promote mutual collaboration and knowledge transfer. This is how we support the Czech Republic - 2019 Innovation Strategic Cooperation.



We also want the broadest possible participation so that the cluster covers all entities in the field. I think some time in or month of year, I had a meeting in a government office with representatives of businesses, universities and research institutions in Prague. It wasn't a very pleasant meeting.  Prague entity in the cluster, since the core of the cluster was created in Brno.





Companies there already know each other through the upcoming IPCEI Mikroelektronika II project. If I describe the meeting briefly, these companies were interested in other things. They were not entirely satisfied with the public support offered to them in Prague, lacking investment incentives and most operating plans. I know those companies. I believe the lack of the above tools is a barrier to technology investment in the capital. But these are EU rules and any exceptions will have to be negotiated.
